About the competition
The premier international logic competition for all school students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and gain global recognition.
ILO is where the world's brightest minds compete! The International Logic Olympiad (ILO) is built on the belief that logic is the universal language of problem-solving.This essential skill powers success in every arena, from navigating daily challenges and solving puzzles to structuring arguments in school assignments across Math, History, and Linguistics. It is the core foundation for advanced professional fields like computer science, engineering, medicine, business and law, where rigorous reasoning and decisive problem-solving are paramount.
The ILO aims to identify, encourage, and celebrate exceptional logical and analytical aptitude among school students. Our contest challenges participants to think critically and apply logical reasoning through puzzles and cognitive games, using concepts such as sets and set operations (union, intersection, complement) and symbolic mathematics at a basic algebra level. It is not a math contest! Our ultimate vision is to foster a pervasive culture of deep inquiry and foundational critical thinking, equipping young minds for excellence in all future academic and career pursuits.
